in a hurry to reach our destination
We arrived in Rome, 4 of us and our luggage in 2 cabs, after a harrowing drive from the airport. Our cab driver turned their 2 lane section into 3 by driving in the middle of the other 2 vehicles. And their speed produced nail biting and gasps as we sped along. When they stopped in front of an ornate building, in the middle of the street because there were no parking spots, I was awestruck by our Rome accommodation. The architecture was classic and the doorway ornate and rich. I was excited to see the indoors, and was not disappointed when I walked through the door.
