Adding variety to my work life with a contract project manager position
Having worked in the legal profession for a number of years I was determined to find a change that would be a little more challenging. I thought about taking on another full time position but decided to go for a contract project manager role that would provide me with a short term opportunity. Working this way will give me the opportunity to move on if the job does not fit my requirements. In many cases, contract positions come up for renewal or if the company that employs you decides that they like your work they might offer up a full time position. Contract positions are a great way to provide some variety to your work life if you have been working full time and need a change.
